In Longmont we meet at the Meditation Place; 324 Main Street; alley entrance.
We meet every Sunday morning for two 20 minute sittings, at 8:30 am and 9 am; with walking meditation in between.
Public Talk about zen and buddhism is at 9:30 and lasts for about 45 minutes.
You may attend for any part of the morning.
Zen Basics Practice, in Longmont, Saturday, December 16th 9 to 11 am. (date is tentative... stay tuned)
Sitting and walking meditation followed by prostrations and sutra chanting. Instructions in the details of zen postures and movements will be provided as wanted.
New Year's Eve Meditation at the Meditation Place
Sunday, December 31st, 8:30 pm
From 8:30 to 10 pm, we will have two periods of sitting meditation with walking meditation in between. From 10 pm to 11:30 we will have temple cleaning, tea and cookies and rehearsal for the midnight ceremony. There will be meditation at 11:30 and beginning at midnight; 108 bells and bowing with each bell. You may attend any part of the evening.
Our sangha member, Marcia Walker is offering a Just Meditation session at the Meditation Place on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

Next Meditation Weekend at The Meditation Place in Longmont: January 26th--28th.
This weekend offers a unique chance to deepen your meditation practice through alternating sitting and walking meditation; supported by the container of a traditional zen retreat. Four oryoki meals are provided.
The schedule is listed on the special events page. Partial attendance is welcome. The weekend ends with Prairie Mountain’s regular Sunday schedule, which is open to those not attending the full weekend.
