Location: The Meditation Place is at 324 Main Street, alley entrance only, in Longmont, 80501. The alley entrance is on the east side of Main Street, across the street from the library and just south of Old Town Market. For parking, enter the city lot on the west side of Kimbark between 3rd and 4th.

All events are open to all on a drop in basis and you may attend for any part of each scheduled event. Please try to arrive at least five minutes before the scheduled start of a sitting meditation period. Meditation instruction is available fifteen minutes before the start of a meeting. Donations are neither requested, nor refused.

Sunday Practice

All Sundays: 8:30 AM sitting meditation, 8:50 walking meditation, 9:00 sitting meditation, 9:30 AM public talk. You may attend for any part of the morning schedule.

Weekday mornings
Monday:  5:30 AM sitting and 6:15 AM sitting with walking meditation in between.
Tuesday through Friday:  6:30 AM sitting and 7:15 AM sitting with walking meditation in between.

Fort Collins

Thursday Evening Meditation and Tea/Discussion

Thursday evening practice takes place from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at 916 W Prospect Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
It consists of 30 minutes sitting meditation, 10 minutes walking meditation, followed by tea and discussion.

Meditation Weekends

Meditation Weekends with Prairie Mountain Zen Center are held at The Meditation Place

They provide a chance to settle into sitting and walking meditation in a supportive environment, with Dharma discussion and oryoki style meals. Cost is by donation. Partial attendance is welcome.

The meditation weekend will start at 7 pm Friday evening and run until 10:30 am on Sunday morning, ending with our usual Sunday morning program.

The next Meditation Weekend will be held on July 29 through the 31st.
